Small Crosses – The coronavirus chronicles

Because I had already dealt with loss and grief as a kid with the tragic loss of a beloved pet, I was better able to deal with bigger losses like the loss of jobs, friendships and even places. That experience taught me much and I was able to tap into that and even refine my reactions as my crosses grew larger and became more adult-sized.

In this month’s post on Catholicmom.com, I discuss the losses that our children are losing this year. While they may seem small to adults, they are really training experiences that can help prepare kids for the harder losses and challenges that will inevitably face them in the future.
