Outside My Window

I had fun finding my wedding dress and putting it on display for some photos that I needed for my Catholicmom.com post last week. That dress cost me about $200 back in 1979. I thought it was the most beautiful wedding gown I had ever seen in my life! I still think it’s pretty,  but it’s so plain!

I am thinking…
This supreme court justice sex scandal is so outrageous!

As the mother of four sons, it scares me that just an accusation of sexual misconduct is enough to ruin a man’s life. It doesn’t have to be proven. 

I also think that Judge Kavanaugh had the right to be in the same place as his accuser. This is still America, right? and why does her lawyer get to dictate terms to the Senate? 

I am thankful…
that I kept many of my diaries and calendars from years ago. This article sort of made me feel justified in doing so!

I am pondering…
this cross country season. It hasn’t exactly gone as I had hoped for Rosie or for me.

• Working on the “lose the mummy tummy” goal. 
• More flute practice in this week. 
• Prepare my labs for Wednesday for my science class. We will be working on barometric pressure. 
• Give my editor more information for my book proposal. 
• Going to Rosie’s first confirmation session this week. I will be so glad to never have to fo to another sacramental preparation class again!
