Outside my window…

I am thinking…
about this being Noah’s last year in our homeschool before starting college next fall and I’m wondering what that will feel like, not having him around as much next year.

I’m pretty used to not having the older three boys around any more – and their departures ranged from controlled launch to traumatic catastrophe.  But this will be my first one to do higher education so I’m hoping that it will feel more like an adventure than a disaster.

I am thankful…
that the kids seem to be settling into their homeschooling routine. We just about have every topic covered and are even tackling the reading.

I have…
cross country meets and soccer games in my future.  I also have to help Izzy set up her Etsy shop and get some of the things that did not sell at the sale online.

The sale experience was tough- it poured all day and she only made $40 – the booth fee was $50.  Still she learned a lot about what people want to buy and how she should cater to them.
