I am thinking…
about the costumes I need to get ready for the All Saints Day Party we will be attending this weekend. Izzy is going as St. Veronica and Noah is thinking of G.K Chesterton!

I am thankful …
that the busy sports season is just about over!  Sports is immediately followed by the busy music season, which leads us into the busy Christmas season – the cycles of the busy year.
From the learning rooms
Sam started Pre-Calc and says it is amazingly difficult!. He will be taking the Analyzing literature CLEP test hopefully by the end of next week or the next.  Here’s a sample. Gabe needs to put more time in his math program ALEKS and start Saxon Algebra 1/2 . Noah is plugging along in Saxon 67 and Izzy in 54.  Gabe and Noah are plugging away at reading Robinson Crusoe .  I finally broke down and got them the book on tape.  They were following along on Libra Vox but said the reader there was too slow.  And although I did point out that they could read it on their own, since they are 2/3 of the way done, I thought this might move it along a bit faster. They are also enjoying Rosetta Stone Latin.   More on to the pre-Civil war years in History and more DNA in science.

From the kitchen…
Still loving the the Campbell’s Kitchen site a bit more  came upon their budget recipes – take a look!

I am wearing…
black pants and black shirt.

I am remembering:
Mama – always.  Raphael’s 8th birthday is coming up too.

I am creating…
All Saints Day costumes this week with Izzy. She wants to go as St. Veronica.  We have to get paint so that she can paint her veil of Christ’s face.

I am going…
It’s so hard to find time to exercise when I’m homeschooling.  It was so much easier over the summer! Epic fail again last week.
I am reading…
