Kid’s say the darndest things- even the adult kids!

I know that little kids can say the funniest things – but last week so did my 19-year-old!

Calvin has one month to go on his EMT training before he can take the test and then find employment as an EMT. Last week he was studying emergency childbirth.

Now Calvin is no stranger to childbirth. He saw Gabe and Noah born in the living room when he was 6 and 10 years old respectively! So I thought maybe he might have a bit of an advantage over his classmates who perhaps had never seen childbirth before. When he came home after his last class, I asked him.

“So Calvin, how did the childbirth training class go? Did you learn anything?” I asked.

“Yea,” he said, “you guys did it all wrong mom!”

And then he proceeded to tell me how I gave birth wrong – twice.

Well considering his brothers were right there eating a hearty breakfast, I guess I did something right! But I didn’t pursue it. After all, I wasn’t a professional or anything – just a mom!
