It may very well be that we have just seen a coup in this nation, the likes of which we have never seen before. We have seen that apparently the majority of Americans want to be coddled, cared for, and babysat by their government instead of having pride in their own handiwork, skills and labor. They are apparently willing to pay the price for that- I don’t think they have any idea how high that price is going to be.

As I was looking through scripture these verses seemed appropriate for this evening.

13 And the LORD said to me, “I have seen this people, and they are a stiff-necked people indeed! 14 Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make you into a nation stronger and more numerous than they.”

A very liberal family that I know had their first child vote in an election. That child of course drank the Obama Cool-aid and cast a vote for socialism. My oldest child also voted in his very first election tonight. He voted a straight pro-life ticket. On the surface it looks like these two young people canceled each other out. But my liberal friends had three children. I have six. And they are young. I have time. Lord willing THEY will help to make a stronger nation -and as the new socialists contracept and abort and blot their future away, children like mine will become more numerous.

In the meantime, it is sobering to think of what we have done to ourselves. May God have mercy on us.
