Madam Vice President

Sarah’s speech last night was everything I had hoped it would be. She was clear, articulate, funny, bright. A star was born last night! She said everything she needed to say and she didn’t flinch. She acknowledged in her own way the smears that have befallen her family in the last few days and basically gave her detractors the finger, in a very ladylike and classy way. She rocked!

Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s speech was outstanding too and he had some talking points I hope to blog on later today.

This morning as I was running to the bank I was listening to my favorite redneck morning news station and I heard lots of calls that went along the lines of, “I wasn’t going to vote for McCain, but now I’m excited and I’m voting for the ticket!”
We now have a real horse race!

But if you want to see how scared the liberal democrats are of Sarah Palin, watch them attempt to crucify her today on blogs, t.v. and radio. And watch her handle it with grace and a dollop of humor. They won’t know what hit them!
