As an update for my fitness challenge friends – Mr. Pete and I walked three times last week. Our route is a total of three miles, includes one good sized hill that’s pretty heart thumping and just getting up that keeps our heart rates up pretty much the rest of the walk! Even with stopping for a water or diet drink at the end of the walk, we were able to get back home within an hour- so I think that’s a pretty good clip! We hope to get an additional walk in this week for a total of 12 miles and if that goes well we will add to our route. I would like to be walking a total of five miles.

One thing I have to do that Mr. Pete doesn’t is ab and arm work. HE gets enough of that with his normal job. (of course I run and pick up a 30 pound toddler all day but that’s not quite the same!) I hope to revamp my fitness schedule now that we are walking so much and I’ll have that up in the side bar later this week.
