Two Important Movies

There are two “must see” movies this spring.

The first is The Business of Being Born. This is the movie I want all of my nieces, goddaughters, sons and all of their friends to see before they start their own children.

Women’s bodies were designed to give birth. Yet in this culture women have become pretty much convinced that unless they are strapped to a fetal monitor, with an IV and Pit, and even worse, unless they give birth via C-section, they can’t have a baby.

And for the most part, that’s a lie.

Along the same lines of questioning the powers that be – Ben Stein’s Expelled looks like a powerful movie that deserves a look.
