12:00 a.m. Sunday Morning – go to bed happy and sleepy after finally watching The Godfather in full with Mr. Pete. Vowing to go to bed earlier the next night.
1:00 a.m. Calvin gets a ride home from his girlfriend.
8:00 a.m. up and ready to take Sam to church so that he can sing with the choir.
8:50 a.m. Made it in time for Sam to sing the prelude with the choir.
9:00 a.m. Mass starts.
9:15 a.m. During the first reading, I sneak out of church, go over to the school to greet Mr. Pete and my other kids who are there for PSR (Sunday School). I take Rosie.
9:20 a.m. until about 9:45 a.m. – Rosie is good as gold.
9:50 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Rosie screams her head off as we go up to communion. I quickly grab my purse and our coats on the way back to our pew and we stand in the vestibule until Sam is done singing.
10:05 a.m. I am at the grocery store buying a few things for lunch with Sam and a now- contented Rosie.
10:30 a.m. Home. Remind Calvin about mass.
10:45 a.m. Remind Calvin about mass.
10:50 a.m. Remind Calvin about mass.
10:55 a.m. Calvin up.
11:00 a.m. Calvin late for mass. Decides not to go.
Mr. Pete and kids attend mass. Mr. Pete is cantoring.
11:15 a.m. Boiling pasta and grilling chicken for lunch.
11:30 a.m. Tell Calvin he can have some of this to eat when I am done before he goes to work.
11:45 a.m. Work calls. Asks Calvin to go in early.
12:00 a.m. Calvin leaves for work before lunch is quite ready but he takes three sandwiches with him. Allow him to take the car because I do not want to deal with Rosie screaming as I leave, nor do I want to take her back into the frigid cold. Remind Calvin to come home after work.
12:30 p.m. Family home from church. Eat dinner.
1:00 p.m. Clean up kitchen.
2:00 p.m. Clean up dining room.
3:00 p.m. Rosie down for nap. Start transcribing my digital medical reports.
4:00 p.m. Goofing around on the internet and finishing reports.
6:00 p.m. Everyone in and just having general fun.
8:00 p.m. Settle down to watch John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara in Silent Man. This is completely new to me. Kids enjoy it!
10:00 p.m. Calvin not home but off work.
10:30 p.m. Decide to go to bed.
10:45 p.m. Very pleased with myself for getting to bed earlier. Make plans in my head about what I want to accomplish the next day.
2:00 a.m. Izzy wakes us up. She has puked all over her bed and her sister.
2:15 a.m. Mr. Pete and I stripping bed. Izzy asleep on bathroom floor with cover and blanket.
2:20 a.m. Peak in big boys room to check on them. Calvin not in bed!
2:30 a.m. Can’t sleep. Call Calvin’s cell twice.
3:00 a.m. Decide I can’t sleep, might as well get my typing done. Turn on computer.
3:20 Decide to listen to messages in case Calvin called and we missed it. Calvin is on the phone with his girlfriend. Spend next 10 minutes letting Calvin have it while girlfriend listens on.
3:30 Mr. Pete goes down and forcibly removes phone from Calvin’s hand and takes the car keys back. Again .
4:00 a.m Work on medical reports.
5:00 a.m. In bed. Can’t sleep. Izzy snoring. Rosie snoring. Mr. Pete snoring.
6:00 a.m. Watching informercial.
7:00 a.m. Calvin wakes me up to ask how he was getting to swimming.
7:30 a.m. Finally convince Mr. Pete he can take Calvin to swimming on the way to work. I am not giving up my car keys.
8:00 a.m. take a warm bath. Fall asleep.
8:30 a.m. Gabe and Izzy are up.
9:00 a.m. Vow to get to bed early tonight!
