The last day of November- the month of prayer for our beloved dead.

Father Lovasik’s TREASURY OF PRAYER. has a beautiful rosary for the Poor Souls that is very appropriate for this day, or anytime we pray the rosary.

1st decade: My Saviour, I offer You this first decade for the souls of all my relatives, through the Precious Blood which You shed for them in Your agony in the Garden of Olives. Good Jesus have mercy on them.

2nd decade: My Saviour, I offer You this second decade for the souls of all those who have shown me kindness through the Precious Blood which You shed for them in Your scourging.

3rd decade: My Saviour, for the souls of those whom I have at any time offended and for the souls that are forgotten, I offer You this third decade through the Precious Blood which You shed for them in carrying Your Cross to Calvary. Good Jesus have mercy on them.

4th decade: My Saviour, I offer You this fourth decade for the souls of my friends and companions, through the Precious Blood which You poured fourth upon the Cross and through the sorrows which Mary, our loving Mother endured at the foot of the Cross, Good Jesus have mercy on them.

5th decade: My Saviour, I offer You this fifth decade for the soul of (N.N.) I offer You for this soul so dear to me the Precious Blood and the sacred water from Your Heart, pierced by the lance. Good Jesus, open to this soul the gate of heaven, and grant me grace to be reunited with it forever in heaven.
