Keeping Me Humble

Spread the love

Elena of My Domestic Church get’s my nomination for living a life of loveliness that I could only ever dream of. She’s an awesome wife and mother, a deeply committed Catholic, a proponant of pro-life issues, a hands on make-and-bake-and-cut-and-stick-musical-momma, a prayerful, compassionate, thoughtful and passionate woman who endeavours to live a christocentric life in her own euphonious way. Yes, I am proud to know her as a blog buddy and sharing in her trials and her triumphs via reading her blog over the last few years has impacted me more than she could know… and always for the better.

this elena reminds me of one of those women who needs everything to somehow become all about them. and no wonder, since if she didn’t look for it, i can’t imagine she’d actually find any of it anywhere. i mean, did you check out the ham hocks on her? damn. she says she moved on until rsm commented on a rather stupid post that was written on rsm. i have a feeling elena never moves on from anything. other than the couch to the fridge.

I might have to put both of those in the side bar!

I didn’t realize that Ukok had already nominated me for the Blogger Reflections Award, so since I have another one – I’m going to nominate 5 more bloggers later this weekend.

LOL… Now I’m off to pick up my kids from cross Country and drive through Burger King!! Must feed the ham hocks.
