After last week, I really needed to read something like this today!

Anna’s Musings About Home, Family Life and Womanhood: Why we decided against contraception:

“And you know what the most amazing thing is? I realized that I actually used to think children are bondage – but the real bondage was precisely those thoughts! I realized how important it is to have children, but I used to view them as hindrances to whatever other plans I might have. I thought having fewer children will mean more freedom. But I really felt free only when I chose to submit myself to the will of my Creator and accept whatever He has in store for our family. Maybe I’ll be a pregnant mama during twenty years in our marriage, or maybe we will be called to adopt. Whatever happens, we decided to let Him be in charge; and that is true liberation!”
