My Domestic Clippings

With beach weather fast approaching, I think many of us can relate to The Shrinking mom’s gloom at hitting a stubborn weight plateau.

This beautiful blog shares with us the water birth of a daughter with pictures. Exciting story and peaceful babymoon.

I found that blog through The True Face of Birth Blog, which is fast becoming a favorite.

Here’s another fascinating blog by a Family Physician who attends hospital births.

Jen over at Et Tu had an interesting post on spiritual attacks. I do believe in spiritual attacks. I think we can be attacked in any aspect of our lives that is giving God glory. A most recent example in my personal life, was the dissent and bickering in my Catholic Home School Group that lead it to splinter into several groups. There was a split in our youth group as well. It was and is a source of bad feelings and heartache for many of us.

Elizabeth had The Rule of 6
on her blog (6 things to include for your kids everyday.) and I promptly copied them for my fridge.

Barbara Curtis had this cute post on how funny (but a tad obsessive) we homeschooling moms can be.

In 1995 my friend brought his steel drums to our Christmas tea and performed. He did a great job. But what stands out for me is that after the performance, it was all the homeschool moms who came over to look at the drums and ask a gazillion questions. It must be in our nature to do so.

Barbara also posted a very touching tribute to Jerry Falwell here.

He was a great man who changed the course of the country and left behind a legacy that outshines all the hatred his enemies could possibly muster. How I wish I had found an opportunity to share with Jerry what I’m sharing with you today. But I bet he wouldn’t have been surprised at all to hear how an infusion of God’s love left no room in my heart for hate.
