Danny Bonaduce

I am around Danny Bonaduce’s vintage. I definitely remember the Partridge Family and I even have one of their albums! (which I alternate between keeping for old time’s sake or putting up for auction on eBay!)

Anyway, over the past year or so I have come to admire Danny Bonaduce for his guts. Here’s a guy that has hit bottom more than once, found his way back to the land of the living and is not afraid to publically admit to his sins and ask forgiveness. Come to think of it, I admire his wife Gretchen too who knows when to apply tough love and when to forgive and move on.

Danny is also a conservative. Here’s a clip I found via Happy Catholic and Man in the Black Hat.
What I love about this clip is how Danny is very gracious in the beginning, allowing the interviewer, John Conner, to interupt his meal. When it’s clear where the interview is going, even with his ample use of the “F” word, I think Danny still shows a lot of civility. A lesser man would have just punched this clown. This clip is definitely PG13, but probably not worse than you hear in our local public schools these days.
