Spread the love

I was just a tiny little girl but I have vague memories of attending mass when it was in Latin with my grandparents. I do not remember feeling anything in particular other than comfortable, still and a certain childlike sense of holiness. My sister, 18 months younger, probably has no memories of the Latin mass. My next memory of mass was when I was around 9 or 10 and The Peace Singers started singing at our masses and it was a bit of a controversy.

Anyway, I was happy to find the Latin Mass of Easter Sunday in 1941 on You Tube today. I would never have seen it at all if it weren’t for the Catholic Carnival! How fortunate we are to be able to share information like this every week! So HT to Jay for organizing the carnival and to A Catholic Life for sharing this gem!
