Are Catholics Saved?

While I was at the Fest this past weekend, I picked up a pamphlet called the Top 10 Questions for Catholics. I was particularly interested in this pamphlet after participating in discussions last week on the Of Christian Women blog. One of the questions included in the top 10, and which has taken up considerable bandwidth on the Of Christian Women Blog is the question of how Catholics believe they are saved, and even if we are saved.

In response to the discussions on that blog, Mark Windsor wrote a very thorough piece on his own blog on Justification. This is the type of article Catholics might want to print out and keep with your bible for future reference, and that Protestants might want to keep as a handy reference for discussions with Catholics. It’s well written, easy to read and a concise explanations of this doctrine of the Catholic Faith and I highly recommend it.
