“The Everyday Artist creates Free Online Art Lessons for Students Ages 7 to
107

Angi Lipsit, graduate of Florida State University with a studio art
degree, is the creator of The Everyday Artist and has set up an online
forum for anyone wanting to learn more about visual arts. Currently, the
300 member group is studying basic drawing. Art history and advanced
drawing techniques are coming soon.

And it’s all free for anyone who wants to learn. Can’t make it to a
lesson in West Virginia? By contacting the artist directly, you can sign
up for the lessons and work at your own pace. All the lessons are
catalogued online and can be sent by email.

However, if you would like to receive the lessons by mail, you will need
to contact the artist to pay for postage.

Any artist (any age) wanting to post a family friendly lesson plan or unit
study about their artwork or their favorite artist is welcome to submit
their proposal to Bright Idea Gazette, 36 Teakwood Court, Harpers Ferry,
WV 25425.

Please do not send original artwork. You should write a brief description
of your artwork or unit, what you hope to teach, and your experience with
the subject matter. Photographs are welcome and become the property of
Bright Idea Gazette. Dont forget to send your contact information!

Homeschoolers, be sure to share this at your support group meetings and in
your state conventions!

Speaking engagements are being accepted for the 2006-7 school year, and
may be arranged by contacting the artist directly.

Teaching and learning art has never been so easy or so fun. Be sure to
join in today!”
