So I think I’ve rested on my postpartum laurels long enough. Over the weekend I broke open the box of The FIRM tapes my sister gave me like 3 years ago and did one of the workouts.

It wasn’t awful. In fact it felt pretty good and I was only a little sore. (I guess with a lifelong resume of exercise taking a year off to have a baby didn’t hurt my fitness level too much.) So I’m gonna up the intensity and watch my food intake. I also joined Weight Watchers on line. I think you lose weight with that because you’re so busy filling out the charts and graphs you forget to eat!

What’s worked for me in the past is just cutting my portions down, and no eating between meals. I’m going to focus on that and on the exercise and nursing and see what happens.
