Contrary to what liberals are saying…

President Bush was not the reason food and supplies weren’t getting to the Super Dome and the convention center. In fact, the Red Cross was ready to move in with water, food and sanitation items, but were told by Homeland Security in Louisiana that they COULD NOT Bring the items. Apparently,the plan was to have these centers be refuges of last resort. Folks could come in and stay a bit, but then they wanted them to move out. If the Red Cross brought in supplies, people might not leave – or worse- other people might come in! I kid you not.
