The old gal still has it!

Rich nutritious breastmilk that is! After a rocky start (which I attribute to the pain and recovery of a mandated C-section), my little Rosie has gained weight! In fact she has gained a pound a month and at the 10 week mark is now a healthy 10 pounds 3 oz with a bulging baby belly and chubby cheeks. No formula or supplements, just mom!

There is one difference from the other kids. Usually when my babies are exclusively breastfed, their little bowel movements smell like a nice yeasty bread. Even the gas they passed wa not offensive. That has NOT been the case for my sweet little Rose! She can let em rip like a truck driver and what you got coming, ain’t nothing nice!! I was pondering why this would be. Why would this sweet child be so foul smelling when all four of her brothers and her sister never had this problem?

Mr. Pete had the answer. “Well, you are older now. It’s probably sour milk.”
