Another problem with sola scriptura

It’s not scriptural. Nowhere in the bible does the bible give itself the sole authority. Ellen, a frequent commenter here and on the Intellectuelle blog says that Psalm 119:160 is the stamp of approval:

160The sum of your word is truth,
and every one of your righteous rules endures forever”

But I would counter that even here, there is nothing that says the “word” refers only to what the “written word” is. Truth also lives in the Sacred Tradition and the teaching authority of the magesterium and the Pope. There is nothing in scripture that says otherwise.
