Actually… yea! This blog is the result of 5 years doing the message board things with subjective board moderators and rules that were… well let’s just say fluid. Then there was the very liberal Birth Control and Catholic CHurch Board where all views were welcome as long as they dissented from the Church’s teaching on Humanae Vitae. Upon getting banned there for the upteenth time the board moderator said, “I hope you find a place on the web where you will feel at home.”

“Hmmm”? I thought. I didn’t want to pay the $20+ dollars a month to participate on the AOL message boards which was becoming an exercise in futility. Nor did I want to find someone else’s message board where they arbitrarily set the rules. I wanted to be the rule setter!! And blogging was perfect.

So in a church, state and world that are all less than perfect, in a home where I am outnumbered 6 to 1, I have created my own little eutopia where I reign as empress supreme chuckle between bedmaking, pots and pans, spelling tests and cleaning up dog doo doo!
