Women in pants.

Colleen over at Dressing with Dignityhas a good discussion going on whether or not women should wear pants.

I personally think that pants can be very feminine, attractive and neat, but I love my dresses – casual and dressy – too!

Over the weekend I watched Fried Green Tomatoes with Kathy Bates and Mary Stuart Masterson. Mary Stuart’s character wears a very nice coulotte type of pant in the film when she is working in the diner that catches my attention everytime I see that movie. It looks very feminine, comfortable and easy to work in.

I also like some of Katherine Hepburns pant outfits in the old movies with the fuller cut and a beautiful blouse – I think that’s a nice look too.
