Holy Thursday!

Traditionally this is a day of cleaning and preparation! That holds true for my kids as well – we are doing a major house cleaning today of home and body ! and tonight we participate in the mass at church. Have we prepared our hearts and minds enough this lent? Probably not, but we have tried. The kids and I did make it to confession and mass last Friday and fulfilled the requirements for an indulgence. We will attempt to do that one more time tomorrow on Good Friday. I hope that this is forming my children, I hope that they sense the holiness and awe and sadness as well as the mystery of these days leading up to the Vigil mass. That is my goal as their mother to leave them with these rich Traditions that will give them meaning and guidance into their adult lives.
