The Friday Five

They didn’t have one this week. (How they cannot seem to get one post up a week is beyond me.) BUT… they had this one from last year and I liked it!

1. If you could eat dinner with and “get to know” one famous person (living or dead), who would you choose?

Well probably Jesus and Mary because I have LOTS of questions!!

2. Has the death of a famous person ever had an effect on you? Who was it and how did you feel.

I was just a toddler when Kennedy was assassinated but it did have a big impact on me. All of my grown ups were sad and crying and I remember being very upset about that.

I was also very upset when Karen Carpenter died – she was one of my favorite singers.

3. If you could BE a famous person for 24 hours, who would you choose?

I think I’d pass.

4. Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? Who?

No.

5. Have you ever met anyone famous?

Once when I was in high school, President Gerald Ford was in the Tulip Parade in Holland Michigan while my band was playing. As a matter of fact, the Secret Service pulled Pete over to look at some ID – he looked like a typical 70s teen- long hair, jeans, scraggly shirt.
