Bai MacFarlane fights for her marriage and her family.

Saturday evening I open my e-mail and find an e-mail from a member of my homeschool group. It read, “There is a terrible rumor going around about Bud MacFarlane.” Oh great. I did a quick Google which didn’t turn up anything, but I worried that maybe Bud’s apostolate Catholicity and the Mary Foundation were having severe financial difficulties and if that was the case, I sure wanted to do my part to help. I have gotten so much help and inspiration from their free tape program. However, on going over to Catholicity nothing seemed to be amiss, certainly no appeals for money or anything, so I let it drop.

Sunday morning another member of my group, who is close to the MacFarlane’s, sent me to the Cleveland Plain Dealer article that I posted on the blog yesterday. It’s much worse than I thought – the MacFarlane’s are going through separation and divorce. Again there was nothing that I could see on the Catholicity site about it. But come to think of it, I’m on their e-mail list and I hadn’t recieved any of Bud’s usual e-mails for a while.

Then today, the Sleeping Mommies found this entry from the Plain Dealer by Mrs. MacFarlane. Scroll down.

Bai Macfarlane definitely has a lot to hang on to. See a lovely picture of her family in happier times here.

Her years involved with Catholicity and the Mary Foundation have served her well and she is using her knowledge at this web site to get Ohio Law to work for her.

In my opinion, unless Bud MacFarlane puts out some type of an explanation soon his apostolate is probably over and that would be a tragedy as well. Contact Bud MacFarlane here. I see Satan’s hand in this.
